We have served the needs of Twin Cities dogs and their families since 2011. That much time in our area has helped us perfect the way we care for your four-legged friend. We truly know dogs, we’ve been here for some time, and we aren’t going anywhere. This stability is something you can rely on.

Our seasoned staff members are bona fide dog lovers.

We love dogs here. This is shown first and foremost by the years of experience our team carries. We have 22 full time employees, and as of July 2024 our team just reached 150 years of combined experience in the dog care industry!   Thats nearly 7 years of experience per Lucky Dog team member, which we know is unsurpassed in the state of Minnesota.

Additionally, many of our staff members are dog owners themselves. Since we’re all dog lovers, we are enthusiastic about getting to know your pet. Your dog will probably be greeted by name and fussed over a bit when you first arrive. It’s just what we do.

Lucky Dog is owner-operated.

Our owner, Tom, is on site Monday through Friday making sure that things go smoothly. As an owner-operated business, there’s a lot invested in Lucky Dog. We’re a team that really cares about taking good care of your dog.

We’re the largest facility in the area with specially designed K9Grass and live webcams.

That means that you can always check in and watch your dog at play. And with lots of room to roam, you’re sure to see your dog having more fun than you.

In 2022 Lucky Dog Pet Lodge renovated our outdoor spaces, and invested over $220,000 in installing state of the art K9 grass throughout our 18,000 sq feet of outdoor play areas, making in the largest outdoor play area with K9 grass in the Twin Cities which provides a clean, safe and fun place for your dogs to romp outside.

No matter where you’re traveling, our location is super convenient.

Most of our customers are from the Minneapolis/Saint Paul area, but many of our customers are from out-of-town too. That’s probably because our location near the MSP airport makes dropping off your dog a convenient part of leaving on your vacation. And the location also means that you’ll be able to greet your dog right away when you get back.

We have extra services available, too.

We offer dog grooming and additional services, like nail trims and baths. That means that your dog will look fabulous when you pick him up. And it also means that you’ll get to spend more time cuddling with him when you get home—and less time trying to coax him into the bath.
